Your Impact

As a Licensing Product Manager – Commercial Out-Licensing, you will play a key role in expanding our revenue streams through licensing partnerships. You’ll collaborate across teams and with external partners to bring valuable technologies and innovations to market.

Location:

This is an onsite role in Hunts Valley MD, or Grand Island, NY. No relocation assisntace will be provided.

What You’ll Do

Lead business development efforts to grow product and licensing revenues through strategic out-licensing.

Identify and evaluate new licensing opportunities that align with our commercial and scientific goals.

Negotiate and close licensing agreements with external partners to support long-term growth.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in biopharma, biotech, and academic sectors.

Partner closely with legal, finance, R&D, and commercial teams to drive licensing execution.

Conduct market analysis to uncover trends, competitive insights, and areas of opportunity.

Keep track of licensing performance metrics and contribute to planning efforts.

Represent the company at conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.

What You Bring

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or an equivalent field.

A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in business development, licensing, or partnerships within biotech, pharma, or university tech transfer.

Proven ability to close complex licensing deals and partnerships.

Familiarity with biotherapeutic and advanced therapy commercialization pathways.

Skills:

Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Strategic approach with strong financial and market analysis abilities.

Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Skilled in Microsoft Office; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $114,000.00–$151,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
