Job Description: The Licensed Surveyor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive property research, preparing legal surveys, and overseeing field crews. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in surveying and a strong understanding of Indiana surveying regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct property research, including reviewing deeds, plats, and other legal documents. - Prepare and deliver various types of surveys, including ALTA, boundary, easement, and topographic surveys. - Oversee and direct the field crew to ensure accurate and efficient survey operations. - Develop and manage survey proposals for clients, ensuring clarity and precision. - Ensure timely delivery of completed surveys to clients. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surveying laws and regulations in Indiana. - Utilize surveying software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure project success. - Provide expert advice and guidance on surveying matters to clients and colleagues. Must Have Qualifications: 1. Must be a Licensed Surveyor in the state of Indiana. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Licensed Surveyor. 3. Proficient in conducting ALTA, boundary, easement, and topographic surveys. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership skills with experience in managing field crews. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in surveying software and tools. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
