What you will do:
As an Athletic Trainer (Illinois License Required) you will
· Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
· Responsibilities include patient evaluation, education, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting.
· Supports physicians during outreach events and provides athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
· Contributes to program growth through marketing, educational material development, and wellness event coordination.
· Ensures patient satisfaction, helps families navigate the system, and collaborates with program directors and providers.

Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Masters Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Specify Degree(s): Athletic Training and Certification
Minimum Experience:
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: Licensed/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Other: First Aid Athletic Training and Certification Phlebotomy Certification (will train if necessary
Compensation:
Pay Range: $43,721.60 - $67,787.20
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
