Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant - Walk In Clinic - Full Time
**Job Description:** Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. **Education Qualifications:** _This position requires the ability to work the following schedule:_ _"A mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm._ + _Weekend work is required every third weekend._ + _Employee would be expected to work holidays if their scheduled shift falls on that day._ + _Exact schedules, including holiday rotations, will be discussed during the interview process."_ **Licensure/Certification Qualifications:** LPN Requirements: + Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts) + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. CMA Requirements: + Must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/transfer.
