Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Compensation
+ Local: $40–$42 per hour
+ Travel Package: $1,800–$2,000 weekly gross
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adolescents ages 15–19 in a structured, development-focused setting. This role combines elements of school nursing, camp nursing, and clinic-based care—ideal for an LPN who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and meaningful daily impact.
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN will provide daily clinical support in a remote clinic-style environment. The nurse must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective decision-making, and adherence to nursing standards while consistently delivering safe, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide routine and emergent first-aid assessments
+ Administer medications safely and accurately
+ Maintain accurate paper-based charting and documentation
+ Conduct basic health screenings (cold/flu symptoms, injuries, ear assessments, etc.)
+ Support the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adolescents
+ Collaborate with the supervising RN and program staff to ensure high-quality, consistent care
+ Uphold all nursing protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Minimum Requirements
+ Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license (WA or Compact)
+ One year of LPN/LVN experience preferred
+ One year of clinic experience preferred
+ Ability to comply with professional nursing standards
+ Current CPR/BLS certification
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Skills & Experience
+ 2–3 years of LPN experience (open to candidates with 1 year)
+ Strong understanding of adolescent development
+ Experience working with youth ages 15–19
+ Medication administration + medication-window workflow experience
+ Paper charting proficiency
+ Basic first-aid and wound-care skills
+ School nursing or jail medical clinic experience highly beneficial
+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, especially during onboarding
