We are seeking a full-time, 40-hr Licensed Practical Nurse Lead to support our Pediatrics team! The desired schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm located at 1 Park Way in Haverhill.

Summary

Responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising a team of LPNs and nursing support staff by coordinating patient care activities, overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions
-Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with activities of daily living.
-Provide leadership and guidance to a team of LPNs and nursing support staff.
-Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare providers in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
-Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
-Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of medication administration.
-Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records.

Experience
Nursing Experience between 2-3 years is required

-Leadership and supervisory abilities, with experience in team coordination and staff supervision.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

-Ability to prioritize tasks, make independent decisions, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
