Wright Memorial Physicians’ Group is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care to our clinic patients. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative environment.
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Triage walk-in patients and perform telephone screening using established protocols.
Educate patients on medications and injections.
Assist providers with in-office procedures (e.g., biopsies, wound care, catheter insertions).
Perform dressing changes, suctioning, tracheostomy care, diabetic nail care, and other clinical tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
Delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) within scope of practice and competencies.
Provide coverage for Medical Assistant duties as needed.
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, biopsies, diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned by respective clinic . Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
Qualifications:Current LPN license in the state of Missouri.
