Licensed Practical Nurse | Med/Surg

Melrose Hospital is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! The LPN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. This role encompasses various clinical areas including Medical/Surgical, OB, and ER, adhering to established standards and practices. The LPN will deliver nursing services in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing, ensuring high-quality patient care and support to families

Schedule Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Melrose Hospital  Rotating 12-hour shifts including 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, 10:00 am – 10:30 pm & 7:00 pm - 7:30 am  Every third weekend | Rotating holidays  
  Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $24.21 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience  Pay range: $24.21 - $36.35 Earn extra pay for working evenings, nights and weekends!  Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available  Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!
  Qualifications  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing  Current Minnesota LPN license  Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Trauma education class within 9 months of hire and as needed to meet Level IV Trauma Criteria 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Melrose Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
