Somerset Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient care team. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance. As an integral part of our patient care team, you will provide professional nursing care under the supervision of patient care providers in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Sign-On Bonus Details:

$5,000 for LPN graduates or those with less than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment) $7,500 for experienced LPNs with more than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment)

Purpose:
To deliver high-quality nursing care to office patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and wellness while supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws and specimen collection Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and IV drip routes Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments Assess patients’ general condition, including vital signs and weight Conduct IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse Document all patient interactions, interventions, and medications in the medical record Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information Promote wellness through patient education and communication of physician instructions Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health) Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
