Position Type: Contract(700 hours) | Temp-to-Perm Start Date: ASAP or within 2 weeks of offer Interview Format: Virtual Schedule: 4x10s – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Weekends andWednesdays off) Pay Range: $58–$67 per hour (flexible based on experience) Amergis Benefits + Weekly pay every Friday + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) retirement savings plan + And more Minimum Requirements + Graduation from a state-approved dental hygiene program + Active Washington State Dental Hygienist license + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience Essential Functions Include butAre Not Limited To + Oral examination and periodontal probing + Head and neck examination + Recording health history + Taking and recording blood pressure and vital signs + Taking intra-oral and extra-oral radiographs + Providing oral hygiene instruction + Applying topical preventative or prophylactic agents + Polishing and smoothing restorations + Performing oral prophylaxis and removing deposits and stains from teeth + Performing sub-gingival and supra-gingival scaling + Performing root planing + Documenting procedures in patient charts + Maintaining cleanliness of dental area and hygiene unit per infection control standards + Assisting dentist in emergency situations + Performing other duties as requested + Performing soft tissue curettage + Administering local anesthetic injections + Placing restorations into prepared cavities and adjusting contacts and occlusion + Administering nitrous oxide + Applying sealants + Performing other duties as assigned If you're passionate aboutcommunity health and ready to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you toapply. Involvement includes clinical dentalwork and education with specific responsibilities governed by the state inwhich the hygienist is employed.
