Who we are looking for: + Must be a "Licensed Clinical Social Worker" (LCSW) to provide specialized mental health counseling to clients recovering from a catastrophic injury or illness. + Serve as the primary treating therapist from evaluation to discharge to provide continuity of care as part of a collaborative rehab team + Provide therapeutic interventions to support social and emotional adjustment & community resources that address the patient’s goals + Knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques (TBI/CVA) is a valuable What will you get: + Flexible Schedule Created by You + Paid per hour (not just per visit) + No weekends, evenings, or holidays + Drive Time Reimbursed at Clinical Rate & Mileage Reimbursement + Collaborative Team Environment + Educational Programs + Growth/Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities What you will do: (responsibilities listed are included but not limited to) + Performs comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional and support needs of the patients and their families + Sets measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehab team + Assists the physician and other health team members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health problems + Instructs/counsels’ patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional response connected with illnesses + Participates in care coordination activities and acts as a resource to other health team members in the identification and resolution of patient needs + Identifies and assists the patient and/or family to utilize appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives Qualifications What you’ll need: + Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) + Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensure in the state of practice + Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or acute diagnosis + Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required + Ability to lift 50 pounds + Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures + Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods + Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
