Responsibilities

Apply specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders, conditions and addictions.

Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret tests and measures of psychosocial functioning for the purpose of diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities.Develop and implement appropriate assessment-based treatment plans.Consult with team managers, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with the patient's treatment plan.Provide crisis-oriented psychotherapy as well as short-term and long-term psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment.Document patient therapy in accordance with both federal and state regulations
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

Licensed Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

Master's degree in Social Work required.

Work Experience:

3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences

LCSW credential - ability to serve patients of all ages/populations, understanding of social determinate of care and how to care for the poor and vulnerable of our community (resources, crisis management, counseling, advocacy are all parts of this work). 

 

Prior experience working in a clinic setting ideal but not required.
