We have an immediate opening for a License Project Engineer at our aerospace location in Chula Vista, CA. The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support and execution of Ground Support Equipment licensing agreements for Aerostructures nacelle products.
What You will Do:
Regular interface and problem resolution with both technical and commercial personnel.Responding to technical inquiries.Create & maintain cases within CRM.Develop technical documents.Provide input for tool designs/revisions.Revise repair/tooling catalogs.Develop/monitor performance metrics, including data collectionGather product reliability data.Ensure that the company maintains contractual compliance with its Ground Support Equipment tooling vendor and protecting company intellectual property.Work independently while obtaining support and information from a wide range of internal and external counterparts.Support the continuous improvement of internal processes.Work Experience
What You Will Bring:
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM.At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.Demonstrated experience with tool design and fabrication.Intermediate experience with CATIA V5.Experience creating 2-D drawings and GD&T.Intermediate experience with MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with Teamcenter of similar product lifecycle management database.Experience in creating/updating standard work.Pay Range: $80,000-$82,000
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Chula Vista, CA.
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
