Job Title: Country Manager – Libya

The Country Manager – Libya will lead and oversee the full commercial operations of the Consumer Health business in Libya. The role is responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing distribution and route-to-market (RTM) strategies, leading trade marketing initiatives, and ensuring effective medical detailing execution. The position will directly manage District Managers and Medical Representatives to achieve business objectives and sustainable market expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Management & Strategy
Develop and execute the country sales strategy aligned with regional objectives.
Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
Set annual targets and monitor KPIs across all sales channels.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking processes.
Team Leadership
Manage and develop District Managers and Medical Representatives.
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Trade Marketing & RTM
Design and implement effective trade marketing plans and promotional strategies.
Optimize Route-to-Market (RTM) structure to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency.
Oversee pricing strategies, visibility standards, and in-store execution.
Distribution Management
Develop and manage distributor partnerships to ensure optimal coverage and stock availability.
Monitor distributor performance, margins, and service levels.
Ensure efficient supply chain coordination and demand planning.
Medical Detailing Excellence
Oversee detailing strategies targeting healthcare professionals and pharmacies.
Ensure high-quality scientific communication and compliance standards.
Monitor field force effectiveness and coverage metrics.
Candidate ProfileAge: 30 to 40 years.
Minimum 10 years of sales management experience within Libya.
Proven background in Consumer Health, Nutrition, or Consumer Goods industries.
Strong experience in sales leadership, trade marketing, RTM, and distribution management.
Demonstrated experience managing District Managers and Medical Representatives.
Multinational company experience is highly preferred.
Currently resident in Libya.
Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
