Lexington Process Engineering Manager

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines 

Mentor and lead a Process Engineering team consisting of Engineers and support technicians   

Delivery of process / equipment improvements for high quality, high yields and minimal downtime 

Data analysis of quality defects and machine capability to identify improvement opportunities 

Maintain departmental performance metrics (RTFT, Prof. Savings, Material Usage, Plant Output, Standards of Work, etc.) 

Interface with other departments to establish priorities, manage downtime for trials and maintenance, etc.  

Manage and deliver cost reduction, efficiency improvement and capacity expansion projects 

Contribute technical problem solving as needed for the support of general production 

Ensure all product meets requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems  

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management

Leadership abilities. 

Ability to prioritize and maintain focus, for both the individual and the department, in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment. 

Analytical technical problem solver. 

Meets objectives with no supervision. 

Motivated team leader with a professional and positive attitude. 

Able to learn new technical skills quickly. 

Results oriented and careful about documentation of work. 

Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of the organization. 

Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays to support operational needs 

Ability to benchmark other facilities, processes, etc., for best practices  

 

Qualifications:

3+ Years of leadership experience required

Education: BS ME, EE, IE Required

Education: BS in Management and-or Engineering Preferred
