Who we are looking for:

Provide 1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuriesCollaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of passionate, skilled therapists (PT/OT/SLP/COTA/PTA) to focus on patient-centered outcomesProvide personalized care in an innovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology

What you will do: Including but not limited to

Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devicesAssist Physical Therapists in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment proceduresEducate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activitiesParticipate in ongoing program evaluation and development Qualifications

What you will need:

Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from a CAPTE-accredited college or universityCurrent, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicingCurrent Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulationsKnowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniquesMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety proceduresDuties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periodsAdditional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
