We are seeking Lending and Servicing Specialists to join our growing Call Center team! This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in retail or the hospitality industry and would prefer an office job! As a Lending and Servicing Specialist, you will be the initial point of contact for potential customers regarding loan options. On the job training will prepare you for your primary responsibilities of making outbound calls and handling inbound calls from customers and potential customers, originating consumer loans, and developing strong customer relationships while ensuring a positive customer experience. The Lending and Servicing Specialist will provide quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and by providing timely responses. Our team members must work well in a team setting and have the skills for problem solving, consulting, multitasking and show value in the service we provide our customers! Job Responsibilities are as follows: Starting base pay for a Lending and Servicing Specialist is $16.50-$17.50 DOE, overtime compensation, plus an opportunity to earn a capped monthly bonus up to $2,500! Our call center hours of operation are 8am-9pm M-F and Sat 9am-1pm. Specialists need to have flexibility to work different shifts as requested, 8-5 and/or 9-6 along with rotating Saturdays from 9-1. Job Responsibilities are as follows: Strong Customer Service approach, with a passion for partnership and being an advocate. Receive and respond to loan leads from internal and external sources in a call center environment. Originate loan applications and develop and present loan proposals and offers for new and existing borrowers. Assist new and existing borrowers by explaining our loan process and answering customer questions. Actively identify sales opportunities to originate new business by actively listening and evaluating customer needs. Read and analyze credit reports to determine loan approval. Consistently meet or exceed loan application, loans booked and net new cash goals. Develop professional relationships with our Branch partners. Align with all policies, procedures and relevant federal/state laws and regulations including Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protections Act, Privacy Act and Federal Information Security Management Act. Maintain a professional demeanor and work environment. Requirements 1-3 years sales experience and/or call center experience is helpful but not required High school diploma or equivalent Financial services industry experience is helpful but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized with effective time management skills. Customer service oriented Must meet our acceptable standards for credit history, criminal background history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
