About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager for the Commercial Collateral Operations / Lein Management group.
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activitiesEngage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional areaIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional areaParticipate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelinesOversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policiesDetermine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverablesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standardsCollaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managersInteract with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluationProvide quality customer serviceManage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending OperationsDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Commercial Banking OperationsPrior experience in leading processing and loan originations teamsProven track record of managing and developing processing and loan origination teams in a high-volume environment.Experience and knowledge of such systems as, Loan IQ, nCino and the use of workflow toolsDemonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process transformation within lending operations, utilizing data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience driving transformation initiatives, including process and system improvements for new product launchesAbility to collaborate effectively with Product teams to establish and scale new lending productsStrong background in risk mitigation, compliance, and regulatory requirements within lending operationsDedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences with a strong commitment to excellence in all facets of lending operationsStrong understanding of how to deliver and scale on secured lending productsEducated on capabilities of AI and its uses in building efficiencies in processes and systems

Ability to work on-site at the posted work location in San Antonio, TXThis position offers a hybrid work schedule – 3 days in office / 2 days remoteThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
