Leprino Foods - Lemoore East Plant is looking for temporary positions to fill until December 31, 2025, due to plant closure. We are offering a Retention Bonus for those emploiyees who meet criteria. This is an on-call position, which does not guarantee 40 hours a week. Shift differential and overtime rates will apply.

Job Duties:

On a daily basis, reviews and evaluates all test results. Sets up any appropriate retests. Distributes results to appropriate departments.  Responsible for monitoring and/or participating in all Quality Control programs (calibrations, controls, technician cross-checks, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment; and/or master sanitation schedule).  Work within guidelines of all company policies and procedures, including lab safety, good laboratory practices and good manufacturing procedures.  Implements and maintains 5S standards and critical safety rules.     Must be 18 years of age 1+ years of experience in lab environment  Proficient computer knowledge, Knowledge of quality methods and techniques, including FSMA concept for food safety, quality assurance standards, food laboratory testing methods and operations  Must be able to work nights, Holidays, weekends.  Background in microbiology, chemistry, food technology, food science, or dairy science. Dairy manufacturing experience preferred.

 Work Environment Description:

Works in both the plant production environment which requires walking, climbing, standing and in an office environment which requires standing and sitting. May be required to occasionally independently move and handle objects up to 25 pounds.

 

Hourly wage is from $29.51 to $33.16 per hour.
