Leisure Sales Manager - Washington Hilton

Join our team at the Historic Washington Hilton, just a block away from Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. We are currently seeking a Leisure Sales Manager to take on a unique and engaging role within our sales department.

\n

As the Leisure Sales Manager, you will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of business, including FIT, Group Tour, local BT, and Diplomatic/Embassy group segments. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to interact with our 150 Embassy connections in the city, making you the key point of contact for these important relationships.

\n

We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of hotel sales experience, who is enthusiastic about proactive networking and cultivating strong market relationships. If you have a passion for international markets, along with a knack for hands-on selling, this could be the perfect role for you!

What Will I Be Doing?  

\n

As the Leisure Sales Manager for the Washington Hilton, you will serve as the hotel representative to research, develop and solicit new FIT, Group Tour, local BT, and Embassy business while maintaining relationships with current accounts. 

\n

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nResponsible for travelling outside of the office to meet with customers and prospective customers to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections and close deals\nConsistently meets with and entertains customers, conducts property tours, participates in tradeshows and industry and community events to promote facilities and services.\nDevelop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed estate\n\n

 Pay Rate: $31.25 and $33.65 per hour – final offer based on experience.
