Robert Half Lexington is hiring for a meticulous Legal Secretary to join a team in Nicholasville, Kentucky. In this Contract-to- hire position, you will play a crucial role in supporting legal operations by ensuring accuracy in documentation, contracts, and correspondence. Responsibilities:
• Review and verify the accuracy of contracts, leases, and other legal documents to ensure compliance and proper formatting.
• Act as a liaison between law firms and internal teams to coordinate document drafts and ensure all parties' interests are represented.
• Handle administrative tasks such as zoning and planning forms, insurance follow-ups, and correspondence management.
• Maintain document workflows, ensuring deadlines are met and all necessary details are addressed.
• Provide quality checks on legal drafts, including verifying names, dates, and essential information.
• Collaborate with team members on siloed and cross-functional projects to keep processes moving efficiently.
• Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines to support legal operations.
• Compose precise correspondence and process paperwork related to legal matters.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail when reviewing documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Support various administrative tasks as needed to contribute to overall operational success.
Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a law firm or office setting, with a strong understanding of legal processes.
• Proficiency in reviewing contracts, leases, and legal documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with zoning, planning forms, and insurance-related administrative tasks.
• Expertise in calendar management and scheduling within a detail-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently on focused tasks while also collaborating in team settings.
