**Job Type:** Full time 8:30am - 4:30pm
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Secretary to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily legal activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
+ Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical
+ Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
+ File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
+ Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties in a professional manner
+ Handle billing processes, track time, and prepare invoices
+ Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and documentation
+ Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing mail, and ordering supplies
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 1 year of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a legal administrative role
+ Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formats
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
