The Legal Product Owner - Director will be a key member of our Legal Strategy and Operations team, dedicated to supporting the team’s digital product agenda. This role will be dedicated to the Agile Function, specifically to the Clears Squad. As a Clears Squad member, you will work across BCG teams and functions to support our business growth strategy, enhance our digital product offering, drive legal innovation, and leverage the power of new ways of working in our journey to become an industry best in class team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
A Legal Product Owner Director is an energetic, customer-centric leader who enjoys working with teams to design and deliver exceptional products to customers. You will lead a Squad and work directly with its members to prioritize and manage product enhancements, focused specifically on our end-to-end Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) process.
Among your responsibilities, you will:
Deliver business results and customer value across many different stakeholder groups and functions, develop OKRs and KPIs to measure and track progressServe as the voice of the customer for end-users, ensuring product enhancements are reflective of company needs and working with your team to adequately address gaps and mitigate riskSupport and enable your Squad to succeed, providing feedback as part of our performance management process, and engaging with Chapter Leads to ensure adequate resourcing and functional expertise as necessarySet the overall vision to direct and inform your Squad’s work, working closely with the Product Portfolio Lead to understand and drive alignment on the Portfolio’s business strategy, goals, and objectivesEnable the firm’s new Agile ways of working, modelling behaviours and embracing enhanced technologies and Agile principles to support BCG’s transformationKey input in the prioritization of backlog across multiple products ensuring maximum value delivered to our stakeholdersAssist with the preparation of planning of initiatives during the Quarterly and Annual Business ReviewsIn support of BCG’s digital transformation, we must transform our legal products, experiences, processes, technologies, and how we operate. You will be responsible for partnering with various stakeholders in the delivery of new/ innovative technical solutions. The team is responsible for introducing new technology to the Legal team and shaping how the team works. In addition to new technology, the team supports multiple products within the team to support critical BCG programs and applications. We are looking for a functional expert who is driven, pragmatic, and results-oriented to join our team to support the continued development, design, implementation, and adoption of the Legal Ops programs and the BCG of the future – a faster, more agile, digital, effective, and efficient firm.

Total 10+ years of experience as an Agile leader, including experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach/Mentor, or highly transferable experience and skillsGood understanding of technology enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projectsExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environmentExperience working with internal stakeholders and external vendorsAgile Certifications are preferred, ideally Scrum.org or Scrum AllianceWho You'll Work With
This role sits on our Global Legal Team, specifically within our Strategy and Operations center of excellence. In addition to working with your expanded Agile team and Agile leaders across other Product Portfolio’s, you will work closely with Functional leaders across BCG, including those in our Finance, HR, and IT teams. Various members of our BCG Legal Team, Agile Product Portfolio and key stakeholders. Vendor(s) supporting the Legal Ops products and various other functions within BCG.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
The base salary range for this role is $181,000.00- $221,000.00
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
