Legal Operations Analyst
Work Flexibility: Remote

At Stryker we continue to transform our Global Legal Operations (GLO) team to deliver excellence. The Legal Operations Analyst will play a key role in modernizing and streamlining Stryker’s knowledge and document management systems (iManage).

In this newly created role, you’ll be part of the Legal Transformation Services team, reporting to the Director of Legal Transformation Services. You’ll help drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration across Stryker Legal by managing key systems and tools that power our global operations.

This is a remote role within the US.

What you will do:

System Administration & Lifecycle Management  

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of iManage bugs and enhancements, including: request intake, prioritization, requirements definition, build, test, deployment, and post-launch support. 

Maintain a structured backlog of system requests and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance needs.  

Continuously evaluate and refine system configurations, workflows, and integrations to improve process efficiency, user experience, data accuracy, and looking to the horizon for what the department needs, not only what is asked for directly. 

Develop and manage KPI metrics and reports. 

Partner with IT, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tools with existing systems and processes. 

Maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and governance structures for auditing and continuous improvement purposes. 

Change Management & Communication 

Assist in developing and driving the strategic direction for document and knowledge management. 

Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Build and utilize data-driven insights to recommend enhancements, measure the impact of changes, and demonstrate value to leadership. 

Develop and execute change management plans for system changes, including stakeholder communications, training, and documentation. 

Partner with legal leadership to socialize system changes and ensure adoption across teams.  

Assist in workflow automation program management and projects, especially in relation to knowledge management. 

Training & Enablement

Create scalable training programs tailored to different user groups (e.g., attorneys, paralegals, business users). 

Maintain a living repository of user guides, FAQs, and video tutorials to support ongoing enablement. 

Communicate updates, improvements, and success stories across the organization to foster trust, transparency, and adoption of new tools and processes; and champion the importance of standardized, technology-enabled DMS practices. 

Required

Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of work experience

​iManage system expertise - front-end and back-end

Proven expertise in administering and configuring document management systems, especially iManage. NetDocuments experience in place of iManage acceptable.

Preferred

5+ years of relevant expertise in legal operations, knowledge and management, information, governance, governance or a related field.

Experience in applying generative artificial intelligence to corporate legal department data, intranet websites, tools, and processes. 

​Workflow automation tooling knowledge is a plus. 

Strong project management, change management and stakeholder engagement skills.   

​Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance for business users. 

Experience in a global corporate legal department preferred. 

​Experience with document management in a global organization.  

​Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies is a plus. 

​Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. 

​Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office, Power Platform and Copilot applications and other emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn new technologies, as needed.​​​​ 

$77,200 - $160,800 salary plus bonus eligible + generally eligible for short-term and long-term financial incentives + benefits.  Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
