LEGAL MANAGER N&WA
We are looking for thorough and focused LEGAL MANAGER N&WA to join us on a 7-month contract, located in Casablanca office, Morocco
Position:
As Legal Manager N&WA you will be part of N&WA Cluster legal team. You will be supporting the North & West Africa markets on all legal affairs affecting business operations.
The successful candidate will be executing the legal strategy in line with the regional business objectives and corporate tobacco strategy, in accordance with the company's Policies & Procedures.
It is crucial to uphold business integrity both internally and externally. As Legal Manager you will be providing guidance on a range of business-related issues, analyzing and mitigating legal risks, finding pragmatic solutions in line with the business needs as follows:
Participating in business meetings, understanding business priorities and providing legal advice on commercial matters Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (e.g. purchasing, supply, distribution agreements, visibility, vending, etc.). Providing support to various functions and sales channels and instructing external counsel and advisors where necessary. Supporting Head of Legal in building and maintaining strong working relationships within the cluster, Region and HQ. The Legal Manager will support roll out and implementation of corporate compliance training interventions.
Requirements:
English speaking is essential, French and Arabic are a plus Law Degree from an accredited school and qualified as a lawyer 3+ years of experience in the legal function in multinational corporation or FMCG company. Demonstrated competence as a qualified lawyer in different fields such as contracts, competition law, litigation, etc. Strong commercial acumen. Excellent negotiation skills. Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills. Culturally sensitive. Very results-oriented with great sense of accountability. Analysis & problem solving
