Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Legal Intern** through **September 23rd** at **11:59 p.m.** . **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** **Litigation Case Tracking** + Monitor and follow up on the status of **ongoing litigation cases** , updating internal trackers and notifying relevant stakeholders of developments. **Regulatory Monitoring** + Research and report on **new local laws and regulations** , including changes in compliance requirements, corporate governance, and industry-specific mandates. **Document Drafting and Review** + Assist in drafting legal correspondence, memos, and summaries under supervision to ensure alignment with internal policies. **Legal Research** + Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters relevant to the broader legal department’s operations. **Data and File Management** + Maintain organized legal files and databases, ensuring that all documentation litigation, and debt cases is properly archived and accessible. **Meeting Preparation and Support** + Prepare briefing materials and agendas for internal legal meetings and governance sessions and take notes during meetings for follow-up actions. **Stakeholder Coordination** + Liaise with internal departments (e.g., finance, contracting) to gather information and coordinate responses on legal matters. **General Legal Department Support** + Provide administrative and operational support to the legal team, including scheduling, document formatting, and assisting with internal audits or compliance reviews. **Required Qualifications:** + Law Student + English and Spanish language speaker **Relocation Options:** Relocation is not offered for this role.
