Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Company is currently hiring for 2026 Legal Summer Internship Program at our Store Support Center located in Brentwood, TN!  

 

This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in corporate law by providing them with hands-on experiences in various legal matters that contribute to the success of our organization. In just 11 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience in legal research, provide critical support in litigation and regulatory compliance, and assist in developing and refining policies that guide our business. This internship offers the chance to gain valuable skills in your area of focus while experiencing our organization’s culture.

Competitive hourly rate of pay   Mentorship and guidance from experienced business professionals  Networking and developmental opportunities to grow as a young professional   Exposure to a leading retail brand   Relocation is available to eligible candidates  Potential for future career opportunities within Tractor Supply Co  Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Legal Research: Conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property.  Document Review: Assist in reviewing and summarizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.  Compliance Support: Work with legal professionals to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Policy and Procedure Review: Collaborate with the legal team to review and update company policies and procedures as needed.  Litigation Support: Assist in litigation matters, including document management and preparation for legal proceedings.  Contract Management: Participate in contract drafting, review, and management processes.  Legal Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to legal matters for internal and external stakeholders.  Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in Law School at an accredited university  Strong research and analytical skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Attention to detail and organizational skills  Enthusiasm for legal matters and a desire to learn about corporate law  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment  Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint   Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship
