As a Legal Entity Controller - Analyst in our Vietnam Legal Entity Control team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team that owns the control agenda of the location. You will partner with colleagues across various functions and locations in Asia, and be responsible for the financial reporting and regulatory filings of the legal entities in Vietnam. This role offers the chance to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support location and regional initiatives.

Job responsibilities: 

Be In-charge of the legal entity control functions for the branchEnsure compliance with the LEC Standards, Corporate Accounting and Control policies under US GAAP as well as local GAAP. Prepare, analyze, and submit the reports to the regulators timely and maintain high quality reporting standards & accuracyParticipate in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements and automation process including development of  Business Requirement Documents, UAT for regulatory reporting projectsParticipate in new business initiativesLiaise with the regulators, internal and external auditorsKeep abreast with the recent regulatory banking and accounting changes/developments and analyze impacts, implement to complyCollaborate with tax teams to support tax returns and including VAT, WHT, CIT, Transfer Pricing, and other tax related tasks/queries).Coordinate in expense process and managementSupport senior LEC/Managers in other ad-hoc tasks, projects assigned

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline3 plus  years of experience in accounting, finance, or bankingGood knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAPBroad understanding of local regulations pertaining to banking industryPossess strong communication, inter-personal and organizational skillsGood computer skills - strong in MS Excel and MS WordAnalytical, end-to-end process and process enhancement mindsetSelf-starter and team playerHigh level of fluency in Vietnamese, and English skills (speaking, reading, writing)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Holder or student of Professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CPA is an assetKnowledge/experience with one or several dash-boarding/automation tools (Tableau, Alteryx, UIpath etc.) is an assetKnowledge of MS Office especially Power Point, Excel macros, and Project Software may be preferred
