As a LEC Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be accountable for oversight of control issue identification, escalation, evaluation and remediation, and play an instrumental role in promoting consistency of approach across both Corporate and Line of Business Finance teams.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee legal entity accounting and control on a monthly basis, including the month-end close process, parent/child accounting, equity pick-up, review of inter-entity breaks, and monitoring of unnatural general ledger balances.
Perform month-end analytical reviews of the legal entity to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements, and prepare various reports, including contributions to the Monthly Controller’s Book, as well as legal entity and line of business financial commentary and regulatory reporting requirements.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues, and respond to ad-hoc queries.
Assist in the Booking Model review and ongoing Legal Entity Control Standard compliance monitoring.
Control intercompany activity, including variance commentary.
Monitor the general ledger, including consolidation and netting.
Participate in firmwide legal entity reporting projects, including infrastructure and process improvement efforts and other Controller initiatives as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum 7 years of business and financial management experience
Execution focused self-starter with strong initiative and eye for detail; able to take ownership and work independently, as well as on a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Comfortable operating in a demanding and fast-paced environment
Responds with flexibility in dynamic environment and comfortable with addressing ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to partner well and influence others
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree required, CA/MBA (Finance) an advantage
Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
Should be flexible to work in EMEA shifts
