Job Description

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting Bosch's growing HVAC business in North America. This position will report to the senior attorney responsible for the Bosch Home Comfort division in North America.
This role provides comprehensive legal support on a wide range of commercial and transactional matters including business consulting, contract drafting and negotiation, with a strong focus on distribution, sales channel management, and product regulatory compliance.
The candidate must be a self-starter and have an ability to effectively work with all levels within the organization and collaboratively with our global colleagues. Key job responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Advise and consult with business, engineering, sales, and legal teams regarding a variety of legal and commercial issuesDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of industry-specific regulations to provide insight into legal issues that arise from the businessDraft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including those relating to sales, distribution, procurement, IP license, and non-disclosure agreements in alignment with applicable laws and internal Bosch policies and directivesWork with legal and business teams to ensure compliance with legal obligationsDeliver internal training on legal mattersSome travel, both domestic and international, may be required, as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

J.D. from a U.S. accredited law schoolMember of relevant bar in good standing or eligible for relevant bar admission3+ years of experience as a practicing commercial/transactional attorneyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years as an in-house counsel in a corporate environmentExperience with distribution networks and dealer programs, including distribution agreements, and IP licensingExperience in the HVAC industryExperience collaborating with international teams
