Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Legal Counsel located in Budapest.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel, the Legal Counsel role involves providing legal support to Hungary/ EMEA Operations and Procurement and Supply Chain (GPSC).

What a typical day looks like:

Negotiate, review and draft wide variety of foreign and domestic agreements with Flex's local, regional and global suppliers and service providers

Collaborate and work with with internal business owners (including Operations, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Facility Management, HR, Quality and IT) to ensure that suppliers and other Operations related agreements and legal matters are aligned with business objectives

Work across borders, time zones and cultures with a cross functional group of regional and global stakeholders

Balance governance and be a solutions provider to business stakeholders

Understand financial impact of agreements negotiated and tracked through contract lifecycle

Manage and maintain records of corporate governance, board documents and minutes, director and officer information, governance policies and compliance processes

Draft and adapt contract templates,  legal documents and correspondence

Use Legal Artificial Intelligence solutions, contract lifycycle management software throughout contracting process, including review, drafting, approvals and retention of contracts

Assist in the implementation and enforcement of contracting policies, directives, and  strategic initiatives

Develop process improvements and provide legal training to business stakeholders

Assist in contract interpretations/ disputes

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Law degree from a recognized, preferably reputable university in Hungary

At least 2 years experience in contract negotiation, preferably  in-house commercial transactional experience in a global or regional manufacturing company or in supply chain / logistics

Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business model

Well-organized and detail oriented with an outstanding work ethic

Able to independently manage and successfully prioritize projects to meet deadlines

Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to provide business friendly solutions and    improve processes 

Advanced functional, technical and process management skills
