**Description and Requirements**
**Job Responsibilities (Essential functions and duties):**
1. As a business partner, to provide legal support to the business team in transactions and operations, including contract review, comprehensive compliance review, company policy compliance, dispute resolution and litigation, corporate governance, and training.
2. To provide legal advice and counsel in full life-cycle compliance review of solutions and services.
3. To proactively coordinate with Lenovo lawyers and outside counsel to ensure appropriate legal and compliance supports and controls are provided.
4. The candidateis expected tobe knowledgeable inIT, telecommunication, cloud computing, or e-commerce.
5. The candidate is expected to grow into a role where they are seen as a trusted business advisor and team member pursuing business initiatives.
**Job Requirements:**
**Prior work experience**
1. At least6 years of law firm or in-house experience, overseas study/work background is preferred.
2. Solid experience in complicated project/transaction.
3. Working experience relevant to trade compliance or data/privacy compliance.
4. Practical experience in internet companies or related industries is preferred.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC’s)**
1. Have good risk identification, analytical capability, research, management and control related business perception.
2. Ability to balance risk allocation and develop mitigation strategies.
3. Strong and confident communication skills, with the ability advocate legal positions, and simplify complex legal issues into coherent, actionable business requirements.
4. Excellent collaboration, project facilitation and negotiation skills.
5. Experience engaging withoverseescolleagues and outside counsels is preferred.
6. Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills is preferred.
**Educational Requirements**
Master’s degree in Law or above from top tier school.
