As a Legal & Complicance Business Partner you will be responsible to ensure the governance and strategic framework for healthcare and business compliance. Enables the Affiliate to continuously improve its integrity mindset and patient-centric focus through the implementation of all compliance initiatives, continue building a compliance culture within the organization, detecting compliance gaps, advising and training employees.

The key responsibilities include:
Support development of the compliance framework and foster a culture of integrity and ethical business practices, consistent with the Roche values and external requirements
Coordinate and execute corporate principles, policies, guidelines and codes of conduct in our business tasks that ensure ethical behavior in order to help preserve the good name of Roche and the trust of our partners.
Increase awareness within the organization for compliance of local and international regulations and corporate guidelines.
Provide transparency through adequate review mechanisms and reporting (ensuring Local Compliance Committee is set up, managed and followed up, among others)
Drive initiatives to continuously improve compliance and ensure effective as well as efficient monitoring procedures and tools
Execute the standard procedure for handling alleged violations of Compliance standards.
Report violations or possible breaches of Compliance standards internally and to global functions.
Collaborate closely with Business / Line Management and stay in touch with compliance experts in other functions.
Maintain local database and records in an electronic / physical database for compliance activities.
Corporate Audit readiness
As Legal for CAC:
Draft, review and approve contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, management input, corporate requirements, mitigate potential risks, advise management on impact of contract terms to company and aligned with industry procedures, and local/regional organizational needs and expectations.
Ensure the correct management of the Distribution Agreements in the Region including its drafting, approval, signature and archive.
Support administrative requirements of the contracts, including appropriate approval and signature requests prior excution of the contract
To define and to lead local training programs about topics under their responsibility.
To coordinate the interaction with the legal advisors of the region for any topic applicable
To support business sustainability and access in the Region by the review and monitoring of legal and regulative development in the countries.
To collaborate closely with legal experts in other functions, affiliates or Business Units.
Who you are:
University degree in Law.
Experience in managing Compliance and Legal topics and projects.
Working experience preparing, performing, reporting and following Audits.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Solid IT skills as end user.
Clear sense of accountability on the tasks and responsibilities assigned.
Working experience on contracts processes including contract administration and drafting. Promote the simplification of tasks.
Self-learner, curiosity on how to manage different scenarios and options.
Organized, proactive, dynamic and with initiative.
Focused on the analysis and solution of problems.
Good Communication skills with different levels on the organization and external customers.
