Job Purpose:Lead and coordinate the contractual and legal management of DHL Supply Chain Mexico’s commercial agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
Main ResponsibilitiesContract Management and Legal AdvisoryReview, draft, negotiate, and approve commercial contracts (logistics services, transportation, leases, NDAs, amendments, terminations, etc.).Ensure contractual terms reflect DHL’s interests, including liability limitations, KPIs, SLAs, penalties, and insurance.Provide strategic legal advice during bids, renewals, extensions, implementations, and claims.ComplianceEnsure alignment with internal policies (Policies, Delegation of Authority, Compliance).Oversee filing, control, and traceability of contracts.Coordinate with internal areas such as Compliance, Finance, Tax, Security, and Real Estate.Risk ManagementIdentify contractual, operational, and financial risks.Lead review of critical clauses (liability, indemnification, termination, KPIs/SLAs).Monitor disputes or claims derived from contractual performance.Internal CoordinationCollaborate with global and regional teams (Legal, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Procurement).Represent legal in committees, audits, and customer reviews.Manage supervisors and coordinators, fostering their development.Strategy and LeadershipDevelop standard processes for contract management.Support key projects (major customers, expansions, IMMEX, Bonded Strategic Facilities).Act as liaison with external counsel when necessary.
