We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Mankato. As part of this Transactional Law Practice Group, you will have the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a variety of practice areas, including estate planning, probate, corporate law, and real estate. The ideal candidate will be skilled at handling both administrative tasks and substantive legal work, playing a key role in supporting our team and clients. ...
Responsibilities:
Maintaining file organization, both electronically and in a physical file
Monitoring calendars and scheduling appointments
Tracking court and document deadlines
Assist in preparing wills, trust and related documents
Drafting probate documents
Real estate research, preparation of deeds and ancillary documents
Preparing routine corporate documents and eFiling with the MN Secretary of State
Preparing Closing Disclosures for secondary market closings
Generating status reports; preparing case summaries
Maintaining client contact and communicating case progress
Conducting eFiling through the Minnesota Court???s online eFiling System

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
2-3 years legal assistant/paralegal experience preferred; familiarity with estate planning, probate, corporate and real estate preferred; computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
