Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join McDonald’s highly regarded UK & Ireland Legal Team as a Legal Assistant, supporting the Real Estate Legal Team in a dynamic, fast-paced and friendly environment. This is a rare opportunity to work in-house with a team of experienced real estate lawyers, contributing to high-impact property transactions and legal operations.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Producing, formatting, and finalising legal documents and reportsManaging engrossments and preparing documents for signatureConducting Land Registry and other property-related searchesLiaising with internal Development teamsAssisting with property transaction procedures including exchange and completionHandling administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and photocopyingManaging electronic filing of transaction documents

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

Prior experience working in a legal environment, with a focus on real estate Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe AcrobatStrong document formatting, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to resolve technical formatting issuesExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilitiesA proactive, collaborative mindset with a “can-do” attitudeStrong communication skills and a genuine interest in real estateAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasks
