Legal Adviser – on site

 

The Legal Adviser will ensure comprehensive and effective legal support for the Business operations in Romania, aligned with Group standards and local regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities

Drafting, negotiation, and administration of a broad range of commercial contracts (including sale and purchase, services, distribution, transportation, freight forwarding, storage, leases, consultancy, sponsorship, financing and security documents, NDAs, licenses, etc.) Development and implementation of standard contract templates and general terms and conditions for sales and procurement Advising management and commercial teams on contractual matters, claims, and disputes with counterparties (including suppliers, buyers, carriers, and freight forwarders); supporting the preparation of claims and responses Advising on foreign exchange, customs, and trade regulatory matters Providing legal support on corporate law, employment matters, including drafting employment documentation and advising on employee relations, terminations, and matters related to foreign employees (including immigration aspects) Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, including coordination of GDPR and implementation of contractual protections (e.g., sanctions, AML, compliance clauses) Managing pre-litigation and litigation matters, including coordination and supervision of external counsel Supporting corporate governance matters, including corporate housekeeping and interaction with local authorities (as applicable)

Special requirements

English - fluent Relevant legal experience in a production and/or commodities trading or distribution business Experience working within a multinational group of companies, including cross-border legal coordination and support for multiple entities Experience in managing external counsel and handling cross-border matters
