Legal Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Verification / Documentation Specialist

Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of administrative functions to support the US Immigration Team's high-volume operations. It is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to legal professions and law while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Timely process high-volume paper filings including collating, copying, distributing for signature, scanning, and mailing hardcopy US Immigration filings.Troubleshoot high-volume printing issues.Triage and escalate urgent US Immigration cases to appropriate teams.Accurately track, update, and confirm case status within the case management software tool in real-time.Run and analyze case status reports within the case management tool.Conduct data audits and work with stakeholders to ensure data integrity.Provide project and task support as directed.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.Experience in building out/documenting processes.Experience in high-volume operations working with cross-functional teams.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, critical thinking, and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any field required.Legal support experience, such as Legal Admin or Legal Assistant type of background preferred.High GPA and sense of urgency in managing work.

Work Environment

The position is fully onsite, requiring work 5 days a week in a large and fast-paced professional office setting. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for overtime. Candidates must be 100% available to work onsite and may occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
