As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the front line of customer service for both current and prospective residents. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to enhance resident relations and perform essential administrative duties.
ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.Lease apartments to prospective residents, including conducting initial meetings, tours, and screening applications.Schedule and monitor move-ins and move-outs.Administer work orders and turnovers efficiently.Maintain organization of the office, lobby, and clubhouse.Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for data entry, document creation, and appointment scheduling.Enter and manage database information accurately.Create presentations and update the company website and social media sites with online advertising.Stay current on market conditions and understand how the property compares to competition.Comply with Fair Housing laws and relevant regulations.Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks and scheduling.Meet leasing quotas consistently.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Essential SkillsCustomer service oriented with strong communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.Experience in sales, customer service, and data entry.Ability to manage events and community support activities.Knowledge of property management and leasing processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsGED or High School Diploma required.One year of experience in a sales environment.One year of experience in customer service.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in an office environment with a shift schedule from Saturday to Wednesday, 8am to 5pm. The role involves walking around facilities to provide tours. This position will be at the Oriel Apartments location.
