Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Lindenhurst, NY

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Remediation Manager and field team in Lindenhurst, NY. This individual will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, managing documentation, and ensuring projects run smoothly from scheduling through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage scheduling for remediation projects, including field staff, client appointments, and project timelinesAssist in preparing proposals, estimates, and client-facing documentationTrack and coordinate project deliverables to ensure timely completion and communication with internal and external stakeholdersSupport the permitting process by preparing applications, tracking approvals, and maintaining compliance documentationDraft and format project reports, summaries, and supporting documentation for clients and internal useMaintain organized records, files, and databases related to projects, permits, and financialsHandle general administrative duties including phone/email communication, data entry, and office coordination

Qualifications:

2+ years of administrative experience, preferably within construction, environmental services, engineering, or a related fieldExperience with scheduling, reporting, and document coordination in a project-based environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project tracking tools is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lindenhurst, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
