We are seeking a Leasing Administrator to support leasing, sales, and administrative operations at a large, high-occupancy residential apartment community in Bellport, NY. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with residents, and supporting leasing efforts through organization, communication, and attention to detail.
The community consists of 795 units with approximately 96% occupancy, and you will work as part of a collaborative onsite team of about 10 employees.

Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
Greet and assist prospective residents, providing detailed information about available units, pricing, lease terms, and community amenitiesConduct professional property tours and highlight features aligned with prospect needsPrepare, explain, and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirementsFollow up with prospects to support leasing goals and promote available unitsCustomer Service
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visitsAnswer phones and direct calls or messages to appropriate team membersAddress resident questions and concerns to ensure a positive customer experienceCoordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of service requestsAdministrative & Office Support
Process rental applications, verify references, and conduct credit and background checksMaintain accurate records for leases, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and occupancy reportsPerform data entry and general administrative tasks using property management software and Microsoft Office toolsSupport daily leasing office operations to ensure a welcoming and organized environmentRequired Qualifications (Must-Have Skills)
At least 1 year of experience in leasing, property management, or a related residential real estate roleStrong customer service skills with a professional, friendly demeanorAbility to answer phones and manage multiple communication channelsSolid computer and data entry skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitaskCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesAvailability to work evenings or weekends as requiredPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have Skills)
