Join a leading company in the oil and gas industry as a Lease Operator, where your expertise in rod pumps and gas lift systems will be crucial to optimizing production and ensuring safety.

Role Overview

Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Company policies and procedures. Be a safety leader in the company safety program. Participate in pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR) and incident investigations. Inspect gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and piping components for leaks or unusual conditions. Access remote locations to check wells and maintain normal operating levels. Gauge tanks for sale or transfer of condensate, crude oil, and water while maintaining accurate records. Operate various pumping systems including rod pump units, gas lift wells, and surface pumping equipment. Gather and analyze data on equipment performance and productivity. Utilize SCADA systems to optimize production and minimize environmental impact. Perform minor repairs on production equipment and generate work notifications for major repairs. Execute regulatory tasks generated by SAP, including inspections and site security. Maintain cleanliness and order on lease routes and at facilities.

Skills & Qualifications

Operator Background: Proven experience in oil and gas operations. Pumps: Expertise in rod pumps and gas lift systems. Maintenance: Strong skills in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. SCADA: Familiarity with electronic remote well supervision systems. Chemical Injection: Knowledge of chemical injection processes. Artificial Lift Systems: Experience with various artificial lift technologies.

Education & Experience

Associates Degree/Trade Certification or higher in Production Technology or related field preferred. 3+ years of direct experience with oil and gas production practices and equipment.
