Job Summary: The Learning Technology Specialist is responsible for advancing Swissport’s learning environment into a modern system that supports operational excellence and compliance across all regions. This role is integral to Swissport’s Global Academy, driving the adoption of mobile and compliance-focused technologies to create a safe, efficient, and engaging learning experience. As Swissport transitions from Totara LMS to Dayforce LMS, we are seeking a Learning Technology Specialist (maternity cover) to ensure operational continuity and compliance during this critical period. This fixed-term role will focus on essential operational and project-support tasks, including daily LMS administration, content management, and support for the Dayforce rollout. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in the Academy, Group IT, and regional LMS administrators to maintain business continuity, safeguard compliance, and contribute to a smooth system transition. Job Responsibilities: LMS Administration & Support Daily administration of Totara (until decommissioning) and Dayforce (during rollout). Monitor HRIS sync/imports, error logs, and scheduled tasks. Manage user accounts, assignments, and permissions. Deliver compliance reporting and audit support. Content Management Upload, test, and troubleshoot SCORM packages. Maintain and update compliance-critical training content. Conduct Q&A testing for new learning content. Dayforce LMS Implementation Support Act as a project team member for the Dayforce rollout. Support knowledge transfer from Totara (reporting, data, user experience). Ensure alignment of non-technical training content within Dayforce. Support & Coordination Respond to support tickets and end-user queries. Communicate updates, outages, and changes to stakeholders. Liaise with regional LMS administrators and training leads. Qualifications and Competencies: Degree or equivalent professional experience in learning technology, business informatics, or related field. Proven experience in LMS administration (Totara, Dayforce, Dayforce LMS, eLoomi, or similar systems). Knowledge of SCORM & xAPI content management and compliance reporting. Experience supporting system implementations or transitions. Solid project management skills, with a track record of delivering technology solutions that enhance learner engagement and operational efficiency. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Clear and effective communicator, with the ability to liaise across teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in English required; other languages (German, French, Spanish) an advantage.
