The Learning Manager is responsible for the instructional design and program management of sales training initiatives, supporting our revenue-generating teams. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and enhancing learning solutions that directly impact sales performance. A strong understanding of sales strategy and experience in a sales environment is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to business leaders and bring deep expertise in adult learning, sales enablement, and performance improvement. **Primary Responsibilities** + Partner closely with Sale and Operations leaders to understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities that can be addressed through learning and development. + Lead the development and continuous improvement of sales training programs, including onboarding, product knowledge, selling skills, customer engagement, and value-based selling. + Design and deliver effective learning experiences using a variety of modalities such as instructor-led training, virtual classroom, eLearning, performance support tools, and on-the-job reinforcement. + Leverage sales metrics, learner feedback, and business outcomes to measure training effectiveness and improve learning impact. + Manage the full training lifecycle using the A.D.D.I.E. model, ensuring alignment with business needs, timelines, and budgets. + Oversee content development efforts and lead a team of instructional designers and facilitators to execute high-quality training solutions. + Stay current on trends in sales enablement, adult learning, and instructional technology to recommend and implement best-in-class practices. + Build strong relationships with senior sales leadership, enabling collaboration and alignment on training priorities. + Develop communication strategies and stakeholder presentations that reinforce the value and ROI of sales training programs. + Serve as a learning advisor and project manager for sales-focused learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and field execution. **Minimum Requirements** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, business, marketing, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. **Experience:** + Minimum of five (5) years in corporate learning and development with a specific focus on **sales training** and performance improvement. + At least three (3) years managing learning or enablement projects with cross-functional teams. + Experience in a **sales role** or in supporting a sales organization strongly preferred. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Deep understanding of sales process, value selling, and customer relationship management + Strong instructional design skills and knowledge of adult learning theory + Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills + Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement + Advanced project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus Postal Code: 77019 Category (Portal Searching): Human Resources Job Location: US-TX - Houston Job Profile ID: C00110 Time Type: Full time Location Name: SCI Corporate Office
