Job DescriptionThe Learning Manager is responsible for leading the learning and development strategy across the property, ensuring all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to perform effectively and grow within the organization. This role focuses on developing high-impact training programs, aligning learning initiatives with business goals, and fostering a strong learning culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Strategy
Develop and implement the annual learning and development plan in line with company goals and brand standards.
Conduct training needs analyses in collaboration with department heads.
Design and deliver core learning programs including onboarding, leadership development, service excellence, and compliance training.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Facilitate classroom and on-the-job training sessions with engaging delivery methods.
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to support departmental training initiatives.
Oversee and ensure quality of cross-training and skills certification processes.
Talent & Career Development
Support talent management initiatives such as succession planning, internal promotions, and individual development plans (IDPs).
Coordinate participation in corporate programs (e.g., MIT, AIHM, Fast Track).
Identify high-potential team members and guide their growth journey.
Evaluation & Reporting
Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, KPIs, and business impact analysis.
Maintain accurate training records and prepare monthly learning reports.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Operational & Administrative
Manage learning systems and tools (e.g., LMS, Workday Learning).
Support external training and education partnerships.
Oversee training budgets and resource allocation.
QualificationsQualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years in a learning & development role; experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
Certified trainer or instructional designer (preferred).
Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (and local language as applicable).
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and performance management systems.
