This position is needed to drive the future of Talent Development by integrating AI, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge practices into scalable, adaptive, and personalized learning solutions.

You’ll lead our enterprise learning innovation strategy—researching future-of-learning trends, experimenting with advanced technologies, and converting insights into solutions that accelerate skills growth and business readiness. You’ll shape skill-based learning pathways, manage Twilio’s learning technology ecosystem, and ensure that every innovation translates into measurable business impact.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and people. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Talent Development, People Tech, and Business Units to test, refine, and scale transformative solutions. You’ll also serve as a translator—making sense of AI and workforce trends and embedding them into Twilio’s talent development strategy.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Lead Twilio’s enterprise learning innovation strategy: develop and sustain a pipeline for exploring, testing, and scaling AI-enabled and tech-forward solutions. Research and assess emerging technologies (AI, data science, adaptive platforms) to accelerate personalization, speed, and impact of learning. Design, pilot, and scale skill-based learning pathways that integrate AI and adaptive learning systems. Manage Twilio’s learning technology ecosystem—evaluate platforms, oversee vendors, and drive adoption of scalable infrastructure. Partner with cross-functional leaders to co-create and launch transformative solutions aligned to workforce readiness. Build AI-enabled learning experiences, including microlearning, adaptive content, and in-flow nudges. Measure impact through skill growth, behavioral outcomes, and business KPIs; translate insights into strategy refinement. Build team and stakeholder fluency in future-of-learning trends to inspire and accelerate adoption. Facilitate training, interventions, and learning opportunities across audiences as needed.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications in AI/HR/OD preferred. 10+ years in digital learning/learning innovation, including 2+ years applying AI in L&D. Strong data fluency, including learning analytics, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Proven record leading cross-functional pilots from concept to scaled execution. Experience managing vendor partnerships in the learning technology ecosystem. Ability to operate independently and make high-impact decisions in ambiguous contexts. Strong facilitation skills with experience delivering both live and asynchronous training.

Desired:

Advanced degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, or related field. Recognized externally as a thought leader in learning innovation and AI-enabled learning. Familiarity with design thinking, product management, or strategic foresight in learning contexts. Experience piloting AI-enabled solutions and scaling enterprise adoption.

 This role will be remote, Canada and is eligible to be hired in Ontario, BC or Alberta,

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in British Columbia. : $118,200 - $147,700

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
