The R&D team is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning Experience Designer to join our Global Capabilities Development team and to re-imagine R&D learning by creating engaging, best in class learning experiences. As the Learning Experience Designer, you will be crucial in developing and delivering learning experiences that empower our employees to elevate their knowledge, skills and behaviors as R&D professionals. Your expertise in adult learning theory and diverse learning styles will be crucial in crafting impactful learning solutions that drive performance and engagement. 

How you will contribute

You will:

Apply instructional design theories, practice and methods 

Design and develop inspiring, self-led, learning experiences that are impactful, modern and sustainable 

Work closely with SMEs, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance with focus on R&D functional knowledge  

Visualize instructional graphics, exercises, activities and material/media (audio, video, simulations, games, etc.) that enhance the learning process and experience 

Create and curate content that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles. 

Govern R&D learning resources in the Learning System to be up to date and meet high quality standards (engaging, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles) 

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.

Education/Certification

This individual must have excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models 

They must have proven working experience in instructional design with a diverse portfolio of developed learning materials 

They must have skills in using diverse software for learning solutions development [i.e. Articulate 360, Vyond, Synthesia, and similar] 
 

Visual design skills and ability to storyboard, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts are a plus

Relevant certifications in instructional design or learning development are a plus
