**Description:**
Develop, implement and manage a cost-effective hotel-wide training & development for associates at all levels in line with the corporate objectives and contribute to the success of the hotel by enabling associates to improve their job performance and preparing them for future and higher job responsibilities through strategic training.
1. Analyze training needs, develop and conduct training programs aligned with corporate objectives.
2. Design and implement training and career development programs for managers/supervisors and potential managers/supervisors
3. Develop a yearly training plan and budget
4. Build up a quarterly, monthly training calendar using the yearly training calendar as a guideline and distribute a monthly training calendar to all department heads and display the calendar at the associate notice board under the training section on a monthly basis.
5. Build up training champion club and conduct monthly meetings and audits to make sure department training is carried out effectively to support the department performance
6. Create learning environment through different training and development activities involving department heads, training champions, and supervisors
7. Be a facilitator of training programs and ensure that all the training programs scheduled are being carried out successfully.
8. Implement all Core programs in the property.
9. Facilitate and conduct orientation package to new associates of all levels and to keep an updated record.
10. Keep an updated training record for associates at all levels and to ensure that every department has its own departmental training records and is accessible at all times
11. Report to Director of Human Resources and the corporate on the status of the hotel’s training and development activities on a monthly basis.
12. Liaise with training institutions, professional bodies and consultants if required.
13. Establish relationship with local and overseas schools, universities, colleges and is able to draw from a pool of eligible interns for a variety of departmental needs on a regular basis.
14. Develop a tracking system to report the progress of trainees to school, universities, and colleges.
15. Develop hotel school students through planned internship training program which benefits both the hotel & the students.
16. Develop a training schedule for trainees and distribute to the respective departments one week before the commencement of their training.
17. Review trainee’s report upon completion of their training.
18. Produce a cost effective and attractive quarterly newsletter as communication tools to advise, recognize, celebrate, inform, and educate the associates of the hotel.
19. Ensure all notice boards have up-do-date information and clean and attractive display.
20. Make and control training budget for effectiveness and efficiency.
21. Organize hotel-wide activities, monthly associate activities, charity events
22. Undertake any other job assignments given by Director of Human Resources
**Qualifications:**
The position is open for Vietnamese only.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Hospitality Management/ or English language
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same position.Experienced with Cadena system
Pre-opening experience is preferable
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Vietnamese and English.
