Learning & Development Intern

Summary/Objective:

Under the supervision of the Director – Learning & Development (L&D), the Intern provides general support to the L&D team (part of our Human Resources / People & Culture team) by assisting with assigned projects, administrative tasks, and day-to-day operations. This role is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experience while contributing to team objectives. As an internship position, this role is intended to last approximately 12 weeks and is considered a full-time 40 hour per week role. This role will have a focus on supporting learning programs, training operations, and development initiatives through administrative, project, and data support.

The Intern is accountable for:Accurate and timely completion of assigned work in alignment with defined expectations, timelines, and quality standards.Effective organization and maintenance of information and materials to support team decision-making, project execution, and learning initiatives.High-quality preparation of materials and resources that meet established formatting, accuracy, and documentation standards.Professional participation and engagement in meetings, trainings, and collaborative team interactions.Consistent adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and role-specific guidelines, including confidentiality, data privacy, and security requirements.Continuous learning and development through actively seeking feedback and applying learnings to improve performance and skill development.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

The responsibilities of this position will primarily involve sitting, standing, and walking in a professional office environment. This role will require significant use of standard computer/laptop equipment. This role will be required to occasionally carry items under 10 pounds.


Required Education and ExperienceHS Diploma or GED RequiredMust have a strong interest in pursuing a career in / or having a strong interest in learning more about one or more of the following: training & development, business administration, human resource management, adult education, instructional design, or organizational psychology. Able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishDemonstrates proficient computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
