About Role
Responsible for creating, developing, and delivering innovative and impactful learning initiatives that are business-aligned, learner-centered, and powered by modern technologies to support operational excellence and strategic goals across the airline. This role involves conducting training needs analysis, designing instructional materials, managing content updates, and supporting instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (VILT) sessions. The specialist ensures compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational standards, fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and applies emerging learning technologies to enhance engagement. Additionally, the position emphasizes continuous improvement, innovation, and the development of a collaborative learning culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with business units and subject matter experts to develop the relevant learning solutions/interventions ensuring identified training needs are met.
Design content and develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and assessments with subject matter experts to ensure the content is accurate and relevant.
Ensure alignment of learning solutions with regulatory, safety, and operational standards with compliance, safety teams and subject matter experts to meet all necessary guidelines.
Manage content updates and version control across LMS platforms (e.g., MyPath) with LMS & Design teams to ensure the technical aspects are handled efficiently.
Support facilitators and SMEs in both ILT and VLT sessions ensuring materials and delivery meet quality standards.
Design, configure, and implement learning programs in the Learning Management System with LMS team to ensure the programs are set up correctly.
Deliver pilot sessions for designed learning solutions with a select group of learners and subject matter experts to test the effectiveness of the solutions.
Measure the effectiveness of the learning solution with subject matter experts to report the impact and outcomes of the learning solutions.
Maintain learning records, evaluations, and quality documentation with compliance team for internal audits and continuous improvement.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
